Hey all!
Just a quick rundown of our week, and then I'm off to do some things in town.
Monday and Tuesday were Joe's days off, so we kept busy....from the park to getting the girl's pictures done, we fit it all in!
Monday we went to feed the ducks at Riverfront Park....and ended up getting eaten alive by the mosquitoes...poor Miranda got it the worst, tho we didn't know just how bad until the next morning- she got bitten right between the eyes and swelled up sooooo badly! She didn't look like she had a nose for several days, she even ended up in the ER cause it swelled so much. After they fed the ducks, we went to the playground so that Miranda and Joe could play to their hearts content.
Tuesday, we took the girls to get their pictures taken, and they turned out really good, we'll have them back in another 2 weeks, so if you'd like one, please send me your addresses since I can't find my address book, and really just need to start a new one.
Wednesday was Makalyn's 1 month check-up, where she got an excellent bill of health- she weighed in at 7lbs 13oz, which is just shy of a pound over her birth weight of 6lbs 15oz. The doctor was very happy at that since we struggled a bit with weight- it took her basically 3 weeks to regain to her birth weight. She also grew 3.25 inches, so now we are off and running. She gets 3 sets of shots at her 2 month appointment :(
The rest of the week, we just mainly hung out here at home......now off to haul some water and then go to dinner.....
