2 month check-up.....

Well, today was the day I dreaded...I hate baby shots! Makalyn had her 2 month well-child checkup, it was later than normal because our doctor is out on sabbatical, and another one of the dr. is on maternity, so they are down a couple doctors and busy as all get out! Makalyn had to get 3 shots and 1 oral, which resulted in 7 or 8 vaccines. She weighed in at 10 pounds 7 ounces and was 22.5 inches long. She has been fussy, just hasn't seemed to feel 100% the last couple days and started drooling like a madwoman about 4 or 5 days ago which the doctor thinks could be the start of early teething for her.....~yay~ She said that you really don't see the majority of babies drooling like that until 4 or 5 months, with the first tooth at about 6 months...so she said that she wouldn't be surprised if we see her first tooth around 4 months. The shots were bad...what baby or parent really likes having to get them done? But as soon as we got in the car she was out like a light, and she's still out, so she's getting some good rest while her poor little legs get some healing time. She's been trying to really roll over the last couple of days and she's on the verge of a giggle......I can't wait!
