Wow, definately time for an update!

Well, Miranda ended up staying in the hospital until Friday. The nurses gave her a little birthday party while there, with singing, cake, and, of course, presents! I didn't have a camera with me, but those would have been some great pictures~ She had so much fun! There were student nurses on the floor, so Miranda had a dedicated nurse almost every day, which was nice....they finger-painted, read books, colored, played games, watched cartoons and movies, played nintendo, roamed the halls, among other things. Miranda had them conned into every time that she had to take the one "yucky" medicine (the oral steroid)- breakfast and bedtime- she got to get into the toy chest and pick out a present. So by the time she was released, we had 4 times the stuff that we had brought with us! Haha! Thanks to everyone who sent well wishes, stopped in to visit, sent flowers/gifts, and called~ We all appreciated it sooo much!
We had a small family birthday party for Miranda on Saturday evening. I made a yummy 2 layer triple chocolate fudge cake with chocolate frosting and fresh sugared strawberries on top. We also had mint chocolate chip ice cream. Miranda got alot of nice presents....and was completely taken with a present from Joe- it's a little animal that when you shake it, it jumps around, bounces, and makes noise. She loved that, and plays with it constantly :)
Thanks to everyone who sent gifts and cards, and who came to help us celebrate Miranda turning 4!!
Now, on to the pictures :)

The yummy cake!
